ENTERTAINERS BUDDY GRECO, LEZLIE ANDERS

For entertainers/pet lovers Buddy Greco and Lezlie Anders, not just any pet store will do.

Not when you're caring for a household menagerie that includes -- right now, anyway -- four goats, a sheep, four pigs, two geese, five dogs and, Anders says, "one fat cat."

When the couple's cupboard needs replenishing, they head out to V&K Wakimoto Farm Store, 11925 Las Vegas Blvd. South.

Just as important as the supplies they buy there is the advice they obtain from proprietor Gary Wakimoto who, Anders says, has "answered questions on everything from sore chicken feet to horse cough."

"They're very nice people," agrees Greco, the self-described Philly boy who admitted to a bit of culture shock when he and Anders first moved to their rural Las Vegas home.

"I was kind of leery at first, and now I really love it," says Greco, whose country lifestyle is currently being interrupted by regular performances in New York City and producing a multimedia tribute to Peggy Lee in which Anders will star.
