Guest Pick: Best Gift Shop

SINGER LOUIE LOUIE

Sunset Station stage performer Louie Louie frequents gift shops, because "you find odd things in gift shops here, things you wouldn't find anywhere else." He picks the Luxor's gift shop, 3900 Las Vegas Blvd. South, as his favorite, because its wild selections have helped him accent his home.

"I like things that you can pick that, not only you can look at, but that you can use in your house. There are gold things in Luxor, a lot of gold, over-the-top things," including swords.

No. 1 with him: gold goblets. "I guess it was those mugs that Jesus would drink out of, in gold," he says. "It's cool, because they don't say 'Luxor' on them."

The glasses fit his home décor, a mixture of "Gothic and future," a "futuristic medieval" setting where friends spot blown-glass objects, "wild forks" and wooden throne chairs covered in purple velvet and gold rivets. ("When they slap on some gold rivets, it's like, whoa.")
