Actor Zakes Mokae
A Tony Award-winning actor and the star of such films as "A Dry White Season," "Master Harold and the Boys" and "The Serpent and the Rainbow," Zakes Mokae also has appeared in TV series including "The X-Files," "The West Wing" and "Oz." As a result, he has worked with some of the best talent in the business.
But when he heads onto the Strip for entertainment, he often takes in a show by Gladys Knight, who is performing at the Flamingo. He likes her finesse.
"It's the way she handles a tune," Mokae says. "Some people rush into a tune, she takes her time."
