Readers have called Thai Spice "elegant" -- high praise indeed for a Thai restaurant, which usually is a no-frills mom-and-pop proposition. The chili beef and mint-leaves chicken are sure winners, as are the basics such as pad Thai and tom kha gai. Ocha Restaurant finished second.
