Who could argue with readers' choice of In-N-Out Burger? This is an old-fashioned burger place with newfangled service. The thick burgers come with a nice slab of onion, if you so desire, and when you go through the drive-through, they'll wrap it up if you want to take it along to eat elsewhere, or put it in a box so you can try in vain to eat it without dripping all over your lap. And there's something cool about seeing your french fries actually cut from a real potato. Fatburger made a respectable second-place showing.
