House of Blues, readers like you. They really like you, awarding you this category for the fourth consecutive year. That must mean they applaud an eclectic booking policy that brings in everyone from Los Lobos to the Pretenders -- and a lively, shout-hallelujah atmosphere (we were going to say ambience, but that's too highfalutin) where the audience members add as much to the party as the folks onstage. Also for the second straight year, readers nobly saluted Blue Note Las Vegas by awarding it second-place status. Alas, it's the last time such gallantry will be required; the struggling club recently closed its doors for good.
