What do they put in the beer here, anyway? We're beginning to suspect some addictive secret ingredient, considering the winning streak Gordon Biersch has posted in this category -- six consecutive years, to be exact. Of course, it takes time to sample all of the examples of the brewmaster's art, from dark Dunkles to Blonde Bock, sweet Marzen to Golden Export. (To say nothing of the seasonal creations.) Good thing the place is so crowded -- more people to hold you up when you're about to fall over from overindulgence. Floating into second place: the Monte Carlo Brew Pub.
