The envelope, please? And the winner is: Location, location, location. “Just west of the Strip,” seems to be the place to catch a movie, because these two in-casino cinemas racked up an Oscar-worthy tie. It makes sense, though, considering they share the same booking zone, competing for movies -- and audiences -- with their cushy stadium seating, high-tech THX projection and movie palace-worthy decor. Give The Orleans the edge in screen count. And let the Palms, last year's runner-up, bask in the cachet of its status as home of the CineVegas International Film Festival. (Their cheaper concession prices and freebie snack offers don't hurt, either.) But winds of change are breezing through the Las Vegas movie market because the Suncoast rolled into second place, less than 10 votes behind the leaders.
