Aristocrat Technologies taps Rich Schneider as interim top executive

The American subsidiary of Australian slot machine maker Aristocrat Technologies named Rich Schneider as its interim top executive, the company announced Monday.

Schneider had been the company’s chief product officer for its U.S. operation. He replaces Atul Bali, who is leaving Aristocrat at the end of March to “pursue other opportunities.”

Aristocrat’s American business subsidiary is based in Las Vegas.

The company, which is considered one of the top six slot machine manufacturers, is expected to also name a global chief operating officer by the middle of the year and place that person in Las Vegas. The global COO will also oversee the company’s U.S.-based operations.
