Customers satisfied with Nevada State Bank, J.D. Power survey says


Nevada State Bank is ranked ninth with 771 points out of a potential 1,000 points for overall customer satisfaction in the Southwest Region, a J.D. Power and Associates study released Thursday shows.

Nevada State Bank was the only Las Vegas-based bank ranked in the study’s top 15 in the Southwest. Zions Bancorporation is the parent company of Nevada State Bank, a company with $4 billion in assets and 53 branches statewide.

“The J.D. Power and Associates report certainly highlights the challenge of the Nevada market in comparison to the entire Southwest Region,” said Craig Kirkland, executive vice president, director of retail banking at Nevada State Bank. “Nevada State Bank’s scores ... is an indicator we are doing things right.”

“Successful banks are not pushing customers out of the branch, but rather providing tools that make it easier to conduct their banking business when and where it is convenient for them,” said Jim Miller, senior director of banking at J.D Power and Associates.
