Caesars Entertainment Corp. shuffled its Las Vegas and Atlantic City resort management executives Tuesday, moving a regional president from the Strip to the east coast.
The company, which has 10 properties on or near the Strip, said Eileen Moore, currently president of the company’s Mid-North Regional Division, will come to Las Vegas to oversee three casinos.
Moore will be a regional president and general manager of the Flamingo, The Quad and the $180 million Gansevoort development after receiving required regulatory approvals, said company spokesman Gary Thompson.
Prior to her role in Illinois and Southern Indiana, Moore was assistant general manager at Harrah’s New Orleans. Moore also was vice president of slots and revenue management in the Caesars corporate offices. She began her career as executive associate to company Chairman Gary Loveman.
On Monday, Caesars told the Press of Atlantic City that Rick Mazer, who had overseen the Flamingo, Quad and Gansevoort, along with Harrah’s Las Vegas and development of the $550 million Linq project, was headed to Atlantic City.
According to a filing with the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, Mazer was seeking licensing as a key employee, senior vice president and general manger of Harrah’s Atlantic City.
Thompson said Mazer will oversee a $125.8 million convention center expansion at Harrah’s Atlantic City and the company’s proposed $1 billion hotel-casino development in Boston with the Suffolk Downs Race Track.
Caesars also operates Bally’s, Caesars, and the Showboat on the Atlantic City Boardwalk; and Harrah’s Philadelphia racetrack casino in Chester Pa. as part of the company’s Eastern gaming operations.
Caesars has not had an Eastern Division president since January’s departure of Don Marrandino, who directed the Atlantic City casinos since 2009 and left for undisclosed reasons.
Thompson said Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner will oversee Harrah’s Las Vegas while Jon Gray is the general manager of The Linq, which opens next year.
