MGM Resorts reorganizes corporate communications

MGM Resorts International announced three senior level promotions in the company’s government affairs, corporate communications and public relations departments.

The casino operator promoted Alan Feldman to executive vice president of global government and industry affairs; Clark Dumont to senior vice president of corporate communications; and Jenn Michaels to senior vice president of public relations.

In a statement, MGM Resorts said the corporate communications function is being unified to include public affairs, executive communications, internal communications, and corporate responsibility communications.

Feldman spent nine years with Mirage Resorts and joined MGM following the merger of the two companies in 1999. He will continue as MGM Resorts’ principal spokesperson.

Dumont joined MGM Resorts in 2011, having previously served as vice president of communications and public affairs for the Nevada Cancer Institute and private and public companies.

Michaels had been with Mirage Resorts since 1992 and joined MGM after the merger. Michaels has led public relations efforts for the opening of CityCenter, Bellagio and many entertainment events.
