The Causuarina is out — the Max Casino is in.
777 Gaming, which operates the casino inside the off-Strip Westin Las Vegas, announced Friday the casino name change. The property, across from Bally’s Las Vegas on East Flamingo road, was once known as the Maxim.
The name change to Max Casino was “part of our overall strategy to enhance player experience,” said 777 Gaming CEO Rory Bedore.
The casino has 260 slot machines and eight table games. As part of the transition, Max Casino’s sports book, operated by William Hill, will be moved and expanded to include club seating and big screen televisions.
777 has managed properties in Las Vegas, Sparks, Carson City, Winnemucca, Hawthorne, Elko and Spring Creek.
