The Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce will soon be under new leadership.
On Dec. 3, long-time media executive Bruce Spotleson will be sworn in as the organization’s 2014 Chairman of the Board of Trustees. The ceremony will take place during the chamber’s annual installation luncheon at Aria.
At that time, Spotleson is expected to outline his vision for the chamber and business community for the coming year. Spotleson is the director of corporate partnerships for Vegas PBS. He’s also managed both the Las Vegas Business Press and Vegas Inc, two weekly publications focused specifically on the local business community. From 1993 to 1996, he was publisher of the Tahoe Daily Tribune.
Spotleson, along with the entire 31-member 2014 Board of Trustees, will be sworn in by former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman.
