Downtown book store slates grand opening
A grand opening for a new downtown bookstore is scheduled for Tuesday.
The store, The Writer’s Block, is at 1020 Fremont St. Scott Seeley and Drew Cohen launched the store Nov. 30.
The Writer’s Block sells new books, imported stationery, board games, trinkets and other types of toys.
Various elected officials are expected to be onhand for the grand opening. There will be special promotions on books and store events along with food and drink throughout the day.
