The iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign has gone green for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday on March 17. Tourism officials from Las Vegas and Ireland coordinated the event as part of a traditional “greening” initiative worldwide, that has garnered participation worldwide from similarly iconic landmarks including: the Great Wall of China, the Pyramids of Giza, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro.
