Caesars Palace headliner Shania Twain, center, was on hand for the celebration Saturday when Las Vegas reclaimed the Great Santa Run title. Twain served as grand marshal of the event, which attracted 11,221 participants. That bettered the mark of 10,229 established a week ago by Liverpool, England. Holding up the trophy is Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman, second from right. Las Vegas had a turnout of 9,670 a year ago. It was the ninth year of the run, which was founded by Opportunity Village associate executive director Linda Smith, second from left. (Norm Clarke photo)
