Vegas DJ prefers roses over men’s underwear

Some dude threw his underwear at Eva Shaw on stage, once, so if you see her DJ Wednesday at Wet Republic pool‘s night party, she says she‘d prefer roses or cheese.

Shaw is not judgmental about seeing a male fan‘s underwear flying at her.

"He just got overly excited," she said and laughed. "At least he‘s into it. It was pretty funny."

I asked what she‘d prefer fans throw on stage. Money?

"Someone threw sunglasses on the stage. They were pretty cool. They were Ray-Bans. I wore them. I‘ve had people make T-shirts and throw that, and those raver bracelets."

Romantic roses would be nice, she suggested.

"I like potted plants, but I wouldn‘t want a potted plant thrown at me. Maybe placed gently on the stage?" Shaw joked.

Or how about wrapped cheese?

"Maybe like a brie, or manchego," she mused.

Shaw, a Hakkasan and Omnia club resident, has a David Guetta club remix for "Sun Goes Down" coming out as one of several big Shaw song releases coming soon.

PENN BAITS TRUMP INTO ANOTHER FEUD

Donald Trump is polling in first place among Republican nominees for president, even after slamming former Navy pilot John McCain for being a "dummy" who got captured while bombing people in North Vietnam.

Now Trump is in a new tussle with Rio comedy illusionist Penn Jillette. As usual, the first-time politician didn‘t start a fight but got baited into it by Jillette, just as McCain baited Trump by calling 15,000 Arizonans at a Trump rally "crazies."

Here‘s how it happened.

Step one: Penn Jillette made fun of Trump‘s hair in a book, years ago.

Step two: In 2013, Trump fired Jillette on "Celebrity Apprentice," mentioning that hair joke.

Step three: Last week, Jillette told talk show hosts he likes Trump but doesn‘t think he should be president.

Step four: Trump responded by boasting on Twitter he loved firing "goofball atheist" Jillette, claiming Penn & Teller‘s show on Broadway is bad.

Step five: The Penn & Teller show put up billboards and online memes bragging Trump hates their Broadway show.

Step six: Teller suggested Trump is a genius, on the "Opie Radio Show," but added:

"Unfortunately, when you move into the political arena, when you‘re speaking from the heart, if your heart has some really dark, wrong areas, and that comes out too, that becomes very, very unpleasant.

"I‘m not sure you want a president who is taking shots at a carnie performer," said Jillette, a former barking street performer.

Step seven: Trump told a crowd of religious Republicans he prefers military veterans, unlike McCain, not to get captured by the enemy.

Step eight: Jillette, a libertarian, Tweeted Trump again, saying he "may like him less after McCain. I can like him after he attacks me, but not after this."

Trump hasn‘t responded again. McCain refuses to apologize to his Arizona constituents for calling them crazies.

By the way, although Jillette is on Broadway, he still ran a "Penn‘s Sunday School" podcast with Vegas buddies Paul Mattingly and Matt Donnelly (whose "Matt and Mattingly‘s Ice Cream Social" is a good podcast I neglected to mention in my favorite-podcasts list last week).

And on his Sunday podcast, the Rio star joked fellow Caesars Entertainment performer Celine Dion should know, but doesn‘t, she‘s not considered cool.

"You want to say to her, ‘We all know you suck. Why do you act like you‘re good?‘" Jillette joked.

One of Jillette‘s premises is it‘s better for certain performers not to know how society views them.

"In reincarnation in the next life, if you have a choice between being Billy Joel and actually being good and a lot going on and really smart, and Celine Dion, go for Celine Dion."

I chose not to ask Dion to drag herself into this further.
