Built to Spill ring in the return of The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse is back with a bang provided by three guitars detonating in unison.

Veteran indie rockers Built to Spill, propelled by a trio of six-stringers, herald the return of the beloved downtown rock club, which is reopening after more than a year of extensive renovations.

It’s a promising start for the new, old venue, hosting a bigger band for the now-bigger room.

Built to Spill’s a can’t-miss live act, their alternately simple and affecting, progressive and knotty catalog frequently taking on thrilling, explosive new dimensions once the band hits the stage.

Let’s just hope they don’t blow the Bunkhouse’s new digs down the first night out.
