Libertarians Lament Gun Bill Failure

Outside Nevada and a few other Western states, it’s possible citizens know nothing about the Libertarian Party. But, as the LPers like to say, they make up America’s third-largest political party. (I know, I know. That’s not saying a great deal.)
Now the Libertarians are fired up about the failure of Senate Bill 845, which would have established reciprocity between states when it comes to carrying a concealed weapon.
Again, this isn’t a big deal in Vermont, perhaps. But this is big stuff in the Silver State.
Says an LP National Committee spokesman: “Libertarians are no-compromise defenders of your constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms. I find it ironic that many of the senators who rightfully believe one state’s same-sex marriage licenses should be recognized in all states are now not willing to extend that same courtesy to concealed carry licenses.”
