Mob guys converge – for book signing

You may know the name Henry Hill from the Nicholas Pilleggi book “Wiseguy,” or the Scorsese movie “Goodfellas.” (His character was played by Ray Liotta.)

Hill, the former Lucchese crime family associate who turned his crime crew upside down when he started cooperating with the FBI, is scheduled to make an appearance at 1 p.m. on April 25 at the Barnes & Noble bookstore at 567 North Stephanie in Henderson.

Also set to appear is William “Slick” Hanner, the author of “Thief!” and reformed hoodlum as well.

You are reformed, aren’t you, Slick?

And there’s local best-selling author Denny Griffin, who isn’t a gangster but sure knows plenty of them. He’s the author of “Cullotta” and an armload of other books.
