This is one of those weekends every college football fan dreams of, and that’s because 12 teams in the Top 25 are facing off Saturday. These games definitely will make a difference in the season.
If the past two weeks seemed short on big games, everything is about to change. It’s time for conference rivalries, and that means the college football season is going to get seriously entertaining.
Football is a game of attrition, and the season is a marathon. It’s only Week 3 on the college schedule, and while we have a long way to go, most teams are starting to show their true colors.
It’s that time of year again. You could say it’s my favorite time of year. It’s 75 degrees and sunny, but I’m missing all the great weather because I’m in my house or at a sports book with my eyes glued to a TV.

High-powered offenses always attract bettors. No coach in college football is scoring more points with the public than Art Briles, the architect of Baylor’s attack.
It’s the biggest game of the college football season — at least until a bigger one comes along later in the season. But the hyped rematch between Alabama and Johnny Football dominated talk during the offseason, and the showdown finally arrives Saturday.
