It’s that time of year again. You could say it’s my favorite time of year. It’s 75 degrees and sunny, but I’m missing all the great weather because I’m in my house or at a sports book with my eyes glued to a TV.
It’s not as hyped as Tom Brady and Peyton Manning going head to head, but in terms of quality quarterback play and high-scoring offenses at the college level, Baylor-Oklahoma State is a sexy matchup Saturday.
High-powered offenses always attract bettors. No coach in college football is scoring more points with the public than Art Briles, the architect of Baylor’s attack.
It’s the biggest game of the college football season — at least until a bigger one comes along later in the season. But the hyped rematch between Alabama and Johnny Football dominated talk during the offseason, and the showdown finally arrives Saturday.
