AVID student is getting a Dell

Sadi Steffl is a senior at Sierra Vista High School who participates in AVID, a college readiness program that helps underprivileged students and many whose parents have not gone to college. Steffl is one of 300 students nationwide to receive a need-based scholarship worth $20,000 from the Dell Scholars Program, plus a laptop and printer.

Steffl said the scholarship “will take away a lot of the financial stress I’ll have in college.”
