CTIA: LTE van photos

Here are the photos to accompany my next column, featuring the Long Term Evolution (LTE) demonstration by Motorola. I rode along for two loops of the circuit that was covered by the temporary LTE network, during which live HDTV via ABC.com was featured. We also saw live Webcasts from CNN.com and viewed content on an iPod Touch and played live interactive gaming on a portable media player.

The rack of gear in the rear in the van will ultimately be reduced to fit inside a handheld unit.

Look for more on LTE in the next 12 to 18 months.
