Hispanic education forum to be held Saturday

The Clark County School District is about 40 percent Hispanic.

Las Vegas is a good place as any to "have a community conversation on Hispanic education in America."

Juan Sepulveda, the director of the White House Initiative for Educational Excellence for Hispanic Americans, will seek input on how to improve education for Hispanics on 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the East Las Vegas Community Center/Senior Center, 250 N. Eastern Ave.
