'Disappointed' Messi kicks it up in Vegas

Soccer superstar Lionel Messi showed up in Las Vegas on Wednesday after canceling a Los Angeles charity exhibition following a dispute with promoters.

The FC Barcelona star canceled about 27 hours before Wednesday’s scheduled game at the Colosseum resulted in only 20,000 tickets sold.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Messi raised concerns after receiving little more than travel money for an exhibition days earlier in Medellin, Colombia, that attracted 12,000.

A Wednesday post on his Facebook page read: “Disappointed by the management of the charity match in Los Angeles.”

Messi was seen Wednesday at Surrender nightclub at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas and had lunch at the Country Club at Wynn on Thursday.

His charity exhibition tour, known as “Messi and Friends,” moves to Chicago today.

The hot seat just got hotter for “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen.

Former KSNV-TV, Channel 3, reporter Kristyn Caddell is going public with her affair with Hansen, saying the 2011 scandal “essentially destroyed my professional career.”

In an open letter published in the National Enquirer on Wednesday, Caddell said the NBC-TV star deceived her into thinking his marriage was “filled with misery and on the verge of disarray.”

She is alleging Hansen told her a divorce “was inevitable and the wedding ring on his finger was all but for show.”

When the affair blew up in the media after four months, Caddell said Hansen reassured her not to worry and promised to find her another job “if there was any fallout.”

“By, hey, why wouldn’t I trust him?” she wrote. “He was Chris Hansen — a highly respected journalist, responsible for bringing down child predators, identity thieves and con men on national TV.”

In the letter, she said Hansen flew her all over the country before they were photographed together at the Ritz-Carlton in Palm Beach, Fla., before going to her nearby apartment.

She left KSNV about a week ago after four months with the “Wake Up with the Wagners” morning show.
