Titus rescinds Reid remark

Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., sent the following statement after Politico reported Titus said Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., "is going to lose" his next election.
Titus says she didn't single Reid out, despite Politico reporting three witnesses described the statement. The witnesses also said Titus used a profanity, which she didn't deny.
Here's the statement from Titus: "No one has done more for Nevada than Harry Reid. He fights everyday to create jobs, stop foreclosures, and turn our economy around. He has been a champion for Nevada's families and I am confident that he will be reelected because of it."
As for the profanity, Titus spokesman Andrew Stoddard said: "This was the day after the Massachusetts election and she wanted to get the point across to her colleagues that she thought they would all be in trouble, the President on down, if they didn’t heed the warnings from the election and respond to voters’ concerns."
