Now comes no less than the New York Times to investigate the "story" Sen. Hillary Clinton has been telling on the stump since Ohio. It's all about a poor, uninsured woman who died (along with her baby) all because she could not get the hospital attention she so desperately needed.
Only problem is that the woman in question was insured and she received medical attention before and during her ordeal, which resulted in her death and the death of her child.
When confronted with the truth, Hill's campaign said that was the story relayed to them and try as they could they just could not vet the story. So, they just passed it along like the truth because it reinforced her biases on health care refort.
