Classic Obama avoidance

If you want to witness the unbelievable disconnect of this president from reality, look at the interview he did with “60 Minutes” on Sunday night.
Asked about the rise of ISIS, the president actually said that the U.S. intelligence community underestimated the strength of ISIS and the resolve of the Iraqi army to fight it.
The next day, the White House spokesman was forced to explain that by saying the president was not trying to lay blame on the intelligence community.
But for anyone watching, that is exactly how you would have taken it. That’s because that’s how this president rolls. He sees himself disconnected from his own government. The rise of ISIS isn’t in anyway connected to him. That’s just a screw up by the military.
And that in one short interview reconfirms why Americans have so little trust in this president. It’s always somebody else’s fault. Never his.
PS: ISIS is reported to be at the gates of Baghdad today. That, of course, is not the fault of this president. Just ask him.
