There's no doubt in my mind that President Obama is the front runner to go down in history as the worst American president of the modern era.
His lack of performance on the economy alone puts him in the race. But add to that his horrible misjudgment of the Middle East and his massive infringement of America's basic rights through his NSA spying program, and he sinks to the bottom of the pack.
Move up, Jimmy Carter. Barack Obama makes you look almost effective.
This week came the news that the NSA under Obama has illegally spied on Americans thousands of times since Congress granted the agency broader powers. That's according to an internal audit. (Imagine what we'd find if we did an independent audit?)
Add to that the attempt by the Obama Administration to search a person's cell phone upon arrest, and, you tell me: From the perspective of economic well being and the preservation of American rights and freedom, who beats Obama for the worst?
