Keep your head down, Harry

Did you see that election-night story in the Washington Post in which Harry Reid, in the form of his chief of staff, blamed the White House for the massive Democratic losses on Election Night?
Stunning. It appeared on the Washington Post website about 11 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4. Before all the ballots were in and counted, the Post carried a story in which Harry Reid put the massive loss at the doorstep of President Obama.
The groundwork for that story had to have been set hours, maybe even days, before the election.
Harry’s making it quite clear he’s not taking the blame for this election abortion. But I don’t think he can bad-mouth or finger-point his way out of his own culpability.
He ran the Senate and he ran it badly. He would not let anything come to vote and come election season it gave Democrats absolutely nothing to point to as far as a voting record. All they could be judged on was the performance of the president and Harry Reid.
And that made them easy targets for a restless public. If he’s not careful, this betrayal will come back to haunt him. He’s better off keeping his head down, rather than shooting off his mouth.
PS: Harry never takes my advice, so for my GOP readers, you have that for which to look forward.
