The Obama 'recovery'

For a clear snapshot of what President Obama and Democrats have done to the American economy, look no further than the August jobs report.

Unemployment fell to 7.3 percent, but it fell for all the wrong reasons.

More than half a million adults just gave up looking for work, the report shows. And August showed the grim continued shift from full-time work to part-time jobs. The government reported 123,000 more people in August worked less than 30 hours a week. Since January, the Obama economy has added only 35,000 full-time jobs. In that same time frame, 813,000 more part-time jobs were added.

ObamaCare's mandates for employer-paid health insurance, coupled with the failed Democrat approach of driving the country into deeper debt to produce a "recovery," is to blame.

President Obama already is the worst president in managing a "recovery" in the last 60 years. Jimmy Carter recovered the economy far faster than Obama -- and Carter was horrible.

A jobless rate of 7.3 percent is not good. But the trends that get us there are downright scary.
