ENTERTAINMENT: First Manilow show postponed

Barry Manilow's opening night will now be Saturday after today's show at Paris Las Vegas was canceled. An announcement from the casino cites ‘‘an unexpected power surge that ... left some of the show’s theatrical and musical instruments temporarily disabled. The affected equipment will be repaired and replaced overnight."

Today's 7:30 p.m. show has been moved to 10 p.m. Saturday. Those who wish to attend this rescheduled performance may use their original tickets. All other performances are unaffected.

Ticket holders who would like to obtain an exchange or refund should contact the point of purchase by either calling Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or visiting the Paris Theatre Box Office.
