Valentine’s Day is right smack in front of us and many have yet to solidify plans. Usually, I am an advocate of sitting back and rolling with the punches, but when it comes to grabbing a meal on one of the most popular days to dine out, I suggest you plan ahead.
If you find you’re too late to land dinner reservations, consider going out for a late lunch. After all, it is the first Valentine’s Day to fall on a Saturday in seven years – take advantage of it. If you do a Valentine’s Day lunch, then you can plan something romantic in the evening, such as drinks and dessert, a show or a relaxing stroll (preferably in a safe neighborhood).
If your heart is set on taking your loved one to dinner, there are several restaurants around town with special menus to celebrate the day of love. Some have even included aphrodisiac ingredients to inspire romance.
