COMMUNITY LINK GUIDELINES
Thank you for your interest in Community Link. Keep in mind:
- Your group must qualify as a non-profit organization (IRS 501c3 Tax ID number). We cannot promote for-profit businesses or individuals offering services for hire to the public.
- This is absolutely free for all qualifying organizations. We do not plan to charge for services rendered here.
- Groups must be located in the Las Vegas Valley or Southern Nevada. Those outside of this area must show a presence or impact in Southern Nevada. Final decision to include or exclude any group rests with reviewjournal.com.
Here are the ways to participate:
BUILD YOUR SITE WITH EASE
This is a special Web-based system where organizations can create their own Web sites without having to know HTML (the language used to build Web pages). All this requires is that you have access to the Internet and a desire to create and maintain your own site. We will provide an introductory training session where we will show you how easy it is to build and update your Web site. The advantages of using this system is you remain in control of your group's site. You can update it as often as you like. You can include any of your group's publications, including your newsletter. A calendar, message board and chat are included. You can build sub-sites connected to your main site, allow certain pages only to be viewed by members of your group and have an interactive site that is useful to all of your members.

WRITE YOUR OWN HTML
You have the option to write your own HTML for your Web site. This system works with many Web page programs, such as Microsoft FrontPage and Netscape Composer. Additionally, you have access to a calendar, message board and chat.

If your group already has a Web site and would like to be part of our community, please fill out the form, and we will provide a link to your official site.
BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA MEMBERS
If you are a member of the Boulder Dam Area Council, Boy Scouts of America and want to put your troop/den/pack online, please fill out the special BSA form.
