Our members are professional women and men who divide theirtime between church, home and the Order of the Eastern Star. I thank this jurisdiction for what it is today, I pledge to continue my support to enhance our jurisdiction and be a positive role-model for our youth. It is important for our youth to strive to emulate us as we strive to emulate our five heroines of this order.
I give thanks to God Almighty for revealing this vision to Past Grand Master C. Nelson. I give thanks to Past Grand Matron Bobbie Atkinson and Past Grand Patron Cranford Crawford for being the first to implement this vision. Today, I give thanks to all of the members of this jurisdiction for making this vision become a reality. That vision was/is to make Desert Rose Grand Chapter grow beyond a bud. Look around you! Today, we are no longer a bud. We are a rose, A DESERT ROSE!!
