Sandra Lilly has been extremely instrumental in all of her workings to keep young girls off the street by teaching them good grooming, cultural awareness and basic life skills needed to make it in the world. She is the Director of the Prince Hall Masonic Girls Youth Group. We would like to say thank you to and job well done to Sandra!

In August 20 tickets were given complimentary by the Tropicana Hotel and Casino for the Lily of the Valley Court #1 to attend a one hour magic show. The ice cream social that took place two weeks thereafter was a combined effort between the members of Silver Star Chapter #1 and the youth department. Games, food and prizes made for a very enjoyable evening.

September served as a busy month for the youth group as well. Our kids were busy taking health and hygiene classes taught by Sister Tarra Jackson of Bells of Joy #3.

In October, The Lily of the Valley and the Knights of Pythagoras were taken to Potosi Pines (a mountain retreat) for Halloween.

In November there will be an awards banquet, sweater drive and blanket drive. The Youth Group will also be participating in donating Thanksgiving food baskets.

During December, The Lily of the Valley will be adopting a family and attending the Channel 13 foster children Christmas party. There will also be a senior citizens day.
