1999-2000 National PTA Reflections Fair
February 8th
Thanks to those who participated in 1999-2000 National PTA Reflections
program. A reception for those participants will be held February 8 at
6:30pm in the multi-purpose room. Entries will be displayed and all participants will
receive a certificate. The top three entries in each category are sent to compete at
the state level.
Remember: "Anything is Possible . . ."
General Meeting

Come out to our General Meeting in February as we celebrate the PTA's
103rd Birthday. We will have cake and punch. Also, we will have a guest
speaker who will speak about 4th grade testing and how to understand it. We will also
learn how to help and improve your student(s) scores.
Health Office News . . .
February is Dental Health Month. Have you looked in your child's mouth
lately? Did you know that half of the children in the United States between 5
and 17 years of age have no cavities? Take time this month to check your
child's brushing and flossing habits. Encourage healthy snacks like fresh
vegetables and plain popcorn to keep your child's smile bright and cavity
free. Visiting the dentist on a regular basis (every six months) is also
encouraged for healthy teeth and gums.
