M.A.S.H. (Mobile Assistance & Shelter for the Homeless) Is a community-based on-stop crisis intervention center for individuals and families who are homeless or "at risk" of becoming homeless.
HOMELESSNESS: A COMPLEX PROBLEM -- There are no easy solutions to homelessness. The homeless of Southern Nevada come from all social backgrounds, races, and economic situations. They are single men and women, parents, children, intact families, senior citizens, and armed forces veterans. An individual or family may be at-risk of becoming homeless for any number of reasons.
NETWORKING PUBLIC & PRIVATE SERVICES -- M.A.S.H. works to effectively coordinate and network services available through government agencies, non-profit service providers, and shelter providers. this consolidation facilitates a Continuum of Care to assist individuals and families in making permanent transitions to economic and social self-sufficiency.
