Service Project Update
The Rainbow Council 98-99 annual service project, was a huge success. We were able to purchase many school supplies and personal items for at least 50 students. Many of who are in much need of these items. The Clark County School District Homeless Advocate Department arranged for the pickup and the distribution of the items. It was all made possible by the monetary and item donation from several of our generous PTA units. We extend a warm and sincere thank you to the following units:
Bruener PTA
Richard Bryan PTA
Earl PTA
Elizondo PTA
Katz/McMillan PTA
Lummis PTA
Rhodes PTA
Swainston PTSA
Tobler PTSA
Warren PTA
I would like to personally thank the Rainbow and Cheyenne Wal-Mart graveyard employees who went out of their way to assist our new treasurer, Robin Dores and myself, in our shopping marathon. Thanks to Rick, Virginia, Vicki, Virginia, Marie, Dawn, Mary and Oralia at Wal-Mart, their help was invaluable! Again, thank you to everyone involved!
Sincerely,
Roxanne Spano
Past President 97-99
