March 5: Board of Directors and General Membership Meeting. Fitzgibbons Law Offices, 214 S. Maryland Pkwy, 5:30 p.m.

March 7: Meet The Mountain Car Tour. Destination will be determined by weather, but a spring flower run is in order. Call 897-6134 or the SMA Voice Mail at 223-1157 for the destination and meeting place, and to reserve a seat or offer a ride.

April 11: Newsletter articles due. Please submit all articles on disk to the SMA P.O. Box or e-mail them with any attachments to smanv@yahoo.com. As a last resort, fax in the evenings to 896-7213. (Call before faxing so we can turn on the computer to accept your fax.) If none of the above is suitable, mail a hard copy, ideally using Times New Roman or Courier 12 pt., no style, to the SMA P.O. Box and we will scan it in.

April 22: Earth Day. The Earth Fair at Sunset Park will not be held this year, as Channel 3 has withdrawn its support. The SMA will be honoring John Muir's birthday at the UNLV Earth Day celebration, April 22, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on the campus of UNLV. We need volunteers to staff the SMA booth during this event. If you can help, please leave a message for Jack Borden on the SMA Voice Mail.
