Worst Place to Take Visitors in the Reader's poll.

Pity Fremont Street. Why does everyone pick on the past? This is Fremont's second victory this year in a "worst-of" category. It also was voted Biggest Tourist Trap. Last year, it was the only place in the city where you could see a Beatles tribute band instead of catching the Goo Goo Dolls, the same night, on the Strip. But then, voters also picked the Strip as the second-worst place to take visitors. (Note, however, that readers did not cast "worst-of" votes for strip clubs or out-of-town brothels. So keep taking visitors there.)
