First the bad news: it's very loud up there. Why diners feel they need to shout at one another is beyond me, but they do it here with abandon. Also, it's a budget-buster. We had the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairings and it set us back over six bills. That being said, if I ever have the money again, I'll go straight back to Alize. Stunningly good and imaginative food and the sommelier did an outstanding job matching wines to the dishes. Three cheers for Andre Rochat, the best chef in Las Vegas, bar none (and yes, I've dined at Robuchon, Bouchon, etc.).

Visited on July 16,2005, food and service was excellent. This was our anniversity and our 14 year old son was with us. The restaurant was so noisy that he commented his high school cafeteria was quieter. It was hard to hold a simple conversation. Would never go back on a week-end!

I've had the good fortune to dine here twice, and I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, it is just perfect. I have dined at countless gourmet restaurants in cities all over the USA, but Alize is the best I've been to (topped only by the Michelin 3-star restaurant I went to in Paris). The food is superb, with a wide range of perfectly balanced flavors. The menu selection is wide enough to please anybody, as is the wine list. The internal decor is beautiful and cozy, and the view is among the best anywhere. If you only visit one restaurant in Vegas, visit Alize.
