Andre's is my favorite Las Vegas restaurant. The decor is attractive without being overly ornate. The food and service are both superb. I thought that the wine list was also excellent. The cigar loung on the second floor is a nice touch and a great way to conclude a memorable meal

Always one of my favorites. We missed you Lori, but service was still on par to Andre's high standards. Food was excellent. It's still nice to get off the Strip and enjoy a relaxed meal in a peaceful setting. I had duck, which was cooked to perfection, sliced and very tender.

Hmm. I want so much to love this restaurant as I love tradition, but the overall impression is slightly less than sterling. The pluses: Service was excellent, but somewhat confused. Food was very good, but not really inspired. The souffle was superior. Negatives: The atmosphere could use an update. I recognize they are going for French provincial, but it seems a bit dreary. The sommelier was very knowledgable, but a bit overbearing. I ordered a wine (Torbreck, the Factor). Didn't catch that it was $170 a bottle; oh well, it was delicious. Better bet: go to Andre's at the Monte Carlo, the room is beautiful with the same food.
