Although this west side eatery doesn't resemble its famous namesake in Los Angeles, its egg specialties are among the best in town: omelets, huevos rancheros, eggs Benedict and even a vegetarian version with sliced tomatoes, avocado and two poached eggs, smothered in hollandaise sauce. All are served with ranch potatoes and a choice of toast or English muffin. Other favorites are the frittatas (open-faced omelets served in its skillet), Belgian waffles served with blueberries or strawberries and French toast. A nice touch is the pitcher of iced water, garnished with lemon slices, and pot of hot coffee on the table.
