‘American Idol’s’ David Cook shares bill with Paper Tigers

Ah yes, the famous “David vs. David” season of “American Idol” in 2008.

Need help remembering which was David Cook and which was David Archuleta?

OK, on Dec. 25, Cook tweeted, “Happy Holidays, everyone!!!”

On Dec. 24, Archuleta tweeted, “Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!”

Well, let’s try this again. Archuleta was the cute one. Or was it Cook?

One more try.

Cook was the cute one who looked more like a grown-up. (It’s because he’s older.)

And, by the way, he was that year’s winner.

Cook went on to record two albums, and last spring returned to “Idol” to preview his next album with the single “Laying Me Low.”

He shares a bill with the Paper Tigers on Saturday at Hard Rock Live on the Strip.
