Cannerys, Rampart team up for '$1.5 Million Cashball Giveaway'

Three casinos, Eastside Cannery, Cannery and Rampart have joined in the "$1.5 Million Cashball Giveaway," which is three promotions rolled into one. All C.A.N. Club and Club Rampart members have one free swipe to win up to $15,000 and can receive additional swipes (one per day per casino except Saturday) by earning 50 one-day base points on their card. (That translates to $18 coin-in on slots, $25 coin-in on video poker at the Eastside Cannery and Cannery; $100 coin-in on slots, $200 coin-in on video poker at the Rampart.) The casinos are also having cash drawings on Friday (7 p.m.) and Sunday (4 p.m.) where players can win up to $15,000. On Sept. 28, all three casinos will be giving away a minimum of $28,000. Players receive one entry for every 100 points earned on their cards, and winners must be present at the drawings.

Every weekday in September is a promotion day at South Point. Players earning 8,000 same-day points ($8,000 coin-in) on Mondays may redeem $25 worth of club points for a $50 Chevron gasoline card (limit two cards per week). On Tuesdays, players earning 400 same-day points (no point redemption required) will receive their choice of a personal blender, George Foreman Grill, a multi-cooker or Igloo cooler. Anyone paying for their restaurant meal with their Club points on Wednesdays receives a 50-percent discount. And on Thursdays, players earning just 100 same-day points get a "Swipe and Win" entry to win double points, free play or a buy-one-get-one lunch or dinner buffet coupon. Finally on Fridays, the casino is running double points from noon to midnight.

Ellis Island is giving away $200 in free play every Saturday in September. Players earn one drawing ticket for every 500 points ($500 coin-in) earned and an additional ticket with every $1,200-plus jackpot. Winners must be present at the 8 p.m. drawings.

On Sept. 12, 19 and 26, the Gold Coast will select 10 winners to receive $500, which they can keep or trade up to a maximum of $5,000. Both slot and table players can begin earning entries this Sunday with double entries awarded on Fridays.
