Concert proceeds to help build spay, neuter clinic

Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary's Gimme Shelter Concert featuring the Rolling Stones tribute band Jumping Jack Flash will be at 8 p.m. Saturday at Lake Las Vegas Resort.

The outdoor concert will take place on the floating stage at MonteLago Village, 30 Strada Di Villagio, Henderson.

Tickets are $20 general admission on the lawn, $40 for seats at the water's edge and $75 for VIP tickets, which include seats on the floating stage, an exclusive gift bag and access to a private beer garden. Tickets are available at Bone Appetit stores; Village Realty, 20 Via Bel Canto, No. 120, Henderson; or online at ticketweb.com. For more information, call 227-5555 or visit hwcs.org.

Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary's biggest project to date: the construction of a low cost/no cost spay and neuter clinic. Set to open in June, the clinic is expected to complete more than 13,000 operations annually.

Jumping Jack Flash performs over-the-top theatrics that pay homage to the Rolling Stones. Frontman Todd Loweth leads the tribute band through renditions of "Brown Sugar," "Paint It Black," "Ruby Tuesday," "Start Me Up," "Satisfaction," "Wild Horses," and, of course, "Gimme Shelter."

"The Gimme Shelter Concert at Lake Las Vegas promises to be a fantastic evening, and we're excited for the opportunity to raise the additional funds necessary to help make this much needed program more accessible to the community," said Heaven Can Wait Sanctuary co-founder Harold Vosko.
