Chefs to the Max, a benefit dinner for Vegas Seven magazine restaurant critic Max Jacobson — and featuring a who’s who of chefs linked to Las Vegas — is planned for Sunday at Rx Boiler Room at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Attention lutefisk lovers: Tickets are on sale for the 16th Annual Lutefisk Dinner sponsored by Vegas Vikings Lodge of Sons of Norway. The dinner is Jan. 25 (with seatings at 3 and 6 p.m.) at the Elks Lodge at 1217 Nevada Highway in Boulder City, but tickets must be purchased by Jan. 18. The dinner, which is $20 for adults and $5 for children 10 and younger, will include, besides lutefisk, roast pork, lefse, side dishes and homemade Norwegian pastries.
