The El Cortez is celebrating August by bringing back its popular jackpot gift card program. All this month, Club Cortez players winning a $200-plus slot jackpot or $300-plus video poker jackpot can receive their choice of a $10 gift card from either Wal-Mart, Smith's, Shell or Chevron. Entries are based on points earned beginning July 25, and players must swipe their cards by 6:50 p.m. to be included in that evening's drawings.
